So, Hope, Arkansas is famous for a few reasons. It's the birth place of former President Bill Clinton, hometown of former Governor Mike Huckabee, and it's known for The Watermelon Festival and the sweet, giant melons that are grown there. I'm much more fond and proud of the latter two. I posted the above pic a few weeks ago when my mom brought us some Hope watermelons. I dressed Mary Ella up in melon colors and captured some pretty cute photos. But I recently got the following from my mom's camera. I think they are so funny! And, she wasn't even trying to do this...she was just taking pictures of ME crawling around them...pretty cool optical illusions!
Now that's a watermelon!
