First Steps

We got to stay a little longer at Gigi and Papa's house this weekend because of Labor Day. It's always nice not to have to rush home on a Sunday! So Monday we hung out for a while before we headed back to Little Rock. Gigi and Brad pulled out the cupcakes to try to get Mary Ella walking, and it worked! Now I know what I've been doing wrong...should have known to bribe her with her favorite thing. Anyway, it was precious! They passed the cupcake back and forth, and she walked back and forth. Brad counted as many as 5 or 6 steps at a time! She's not steady yet, still falls back on her booty, and would rather crawl, but it's progress! Yay, Mary Ella!

The following video is not great. I took it while she was was walking for her third cupcake (they were minis). So she had already been back and forth lots of times for bites, and by this time she was tired. And tired of performing her new trick for treats. Ha!
