Memorial Day weekend, we went down to see my mom and took the kids to the Mudbug Festival in Shreveport. It's always a good ol' cajun time!

The catfish in Cole's pond are big enough to fish now, so he took the kids fishing. Caught mostly perch though. Pa broke his leg in March and had to have surgery, so he's not able to take care of Nanny at home anymore. Barely able to care for himself. So, she has been moved into a nursing home in Hope. It is about the most pitiful and saddest thing to watch your grandparents age like that. We try to visit and love on them as much as we can when we visit.
