Easter 2015

Our annual egg painting...ME did a bunny too

Rhett finished his egg in a flash, so he had time for playdough.

We are always so ready for spring weather after a long winter.

They love Veteran's Park and walking around Lake Fayetteville.  We go a little off road, and ME thinks we're hiking.  And they could throw rocks in the lake alll day.

Boy loves a big stick

This is what happens when Mama gets tired of playing Easter bunny in the house.

We made bunny footprint canvases.  I think I want to do more to them though.  Maybe a Bible verse or something.

Annual Easter bunny photo

Easter party and egg hunt at school fell on the same day as Kindergarten testing.

We made rice Krispie peeps.

Don't your kids get on the counter and help cook with no pants on? ;)

We made 5 layers of different colors.

Tulips from our yard

Finished works of art

Easter weekend we went to Dallas and stayed at the Gaylord Texan for the Lads to Leaders conference. It is a program where kids in the church are trained to be leaders.  They have a chance to compete and use their talents for God's glory. ME can't technically participate until next year, but she did have a chance to lead a song, I've got peace like a river, and said a scripture, John 3:16.  I was so proud of her for having the courage to get in front of a room full of girls and do that.
Hanging out on the Gaylord grounds

Headed to worship in the ballroom on Easter Sunday

On our way out of town we stopped at Cheesecake Factory for Sunday brunch

When we got home the Easter bunny had come!  One gift was new jammies!  I told Rhett and ME to let me take a picture of them, and this is what he did.  Literally.  "Let Mommy take a picture of y'all in your pjs the Easter bunny brought you."  "Sure, Mom, let me moon you."

That's better

Took some spring pics in the tulips

Love this!

And this!
