Christmas 2011

Yes, Christmas 2011 started off with the pimp suit. Ha! Our first Christmas was Friday night at Nancy and Leonard's with the Harriman side of the family. The pimp suit makes an appearance every year during dirty Santa, and this year it was AWESOME when Papa got it, kept it, and modeled it.

Saturday, Christmas Eve, was the BEST day! Mary Ella was so happy and sweet and excited about the whole Christmas experience. I will never forget this Christmas! It was so much fun!

Where is Rhett? He slept through most of Christmas. Big sister got to open his gifts this year!

She was good about waiting her turn to open gifts, and each time she would say..."I got, I got, I got"...until she got it opened and figured out what it was.

And this was the frame I painted for Anna and her new sister! Yes, Mary Ella is getting another cousin! Mike and Julie are adopting a baby girl, Grace Elizabeth, from China! And Anna is sharing her room with her! She is so excited that she has done videos like the girl on Good Luck Charlie. ;) She has even done a lemonade stand/art sale to raise money to bring her sister home.

Rhett wasn't excited about sitting in his PB chair from Gigi and Papa, but I know he will enjoy it when he gets a little bigger!

Gracie's first Christmas gifts...can you tell these kids are excited? We recently got new pics of Gracie, and Rita was talking to Trey about her. She said she couldn't wait to get her home and put some new clothes on her. Trey wasn't worried about the clothes. He said, "She needs us." Man! Choke me up!

Christmas morning we went to church and relaxed at home for the rest of the day. And tried again, unsuccessfully to get a good Christmas pic of both kids.

Oh well!

In her defense, she was really tired! Ha! We usually travel to my mom's on Christmas day, but with the new baby and a short amount of time we decided to split it up this year. We did Christmas at New Years with my family.

The next few close-ups were taken with a lens Lisa is letting me try out. I don't know if anyone likes being photographed this close-up. Ha!

You can even see Rhett's red hairs...I wonder where he gets it? ;)
