Pumpkin Patch

This morning we took Mary Ella to Motley's Pumpkin Patch outside of town. They had farm animals, a tractor-pulled hay ride, pig races, swings, hay stacks for jumping, a twisty slide, a cow ride, and LOTS of pumpkins.

She saw goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and a little donkey.

Pigs!

Watching the pig races

This was really cute! The farmer rang a bell and opened the gates. They took off around the track racing for their breakfast! They had names like Daisy and Jimmy Dean. We saw three races, and they even jumped little hurdles. So fun and only in Arkansas!

She loved the animals!

Ew! I have dirt on my hands!

It's hot, and I'm dirty!

Baby pumpkins

They called these pie pumpkins.

We ran into our friend, Claire, from swim lessons, and she hopped in our wagon. I was a Kappa with her mommy, and her daddy is my doctor.

What a fun morning! We are heading home to cheer on our Razorbacks. Go Hogs! Beat Aggies!
