ME's 6th {Frozen/Skating} Party

We got back from vacation on August 14th, I did laundry, unpacking and party prep on the 15th, had her party the 16th, and she started school the 17th.  Talk about a tired mama.  But her party was so easy.  She wanted to have a skating party after she had been to a couple of friend parties there, and I got everything lined up for it before we left on vacation.  Cole, Jenn, and Mama were in town the weekend of the party, and Jenn helped me run around and pick up cake and cupcakes and balloons and get everything set up Sunday after church.  She wanted to eat lunch at Mellow Mushroom, so we did, and then we partied from 2-4.
Pics before church...how many ways can I make 6

They asked the birthday girl all kinds of questions, and one of them was "what is your favorite skating game?"  "Limbo," she said.  Her favorite song?  "Let it Go."  Oh, yeah they sent a shout out to the birthday girl when they played that one. ;)

Happy birthday to you!  I love Rhett's face in this pic.  I don't think I got a single pic of him.  He had baby skates on for like 2 seconds, and then decided the arcade games were way more fun.

She had to fight the sparkler candles for a little while.

These 2 are so sweet!

Have you been to the skating rink lately?  Boy, will it take you back and make you feel old at the same time.  One day you were having your skating party at the skating rink, and the next you're having your kid's party there.  90's pop is replaced with Taylor Swift and whip and nae nae (whatever that is).  It kind of looks and smells the same though!  Ha!  We really did have a good time!  It is always so special when family and friends come together to celebrate your baby!  Happy 6th birthday Mary Ella!
