Our Saturday

We started the morning off right with breakfast at Broadstreet Bakery. Oh my goodness! So yummy! The shopping is not all that gets me in trouble here in the deep south...the food is amazing! So many good restaurants to choose from, and we have been choosing alot. Until we move in our house we are on per diem with the VA. Plus I haven't felt it necessary to cook much since we have the most awful cookware and stove known to man in our apartment. So needless to say we have been eating out a ton. Good food like shrimp and grits at Julep, chicken and waffles at Mint, duck quesadilla and crab mac-n-cheese at Parker House, BBQ pizza and tamales at Soulshine, and the list goes on and on. Another HUGE reason I had to get back in the gym. Anyway, Mary Ella is enjoying all the yumminess too! She loved the waffles with berries and cheesy grits...

Then, we went to Bass Pro so Daddy could get prepared for turkey season. ME enjoyed looking at all of the animals and the "pish" in the fish tank. After that, we took some pictures to Hobby Lobby for framing and came home for lunch and naptime. Brad stayed with the girl while I ran a few errands child-free.

It was such a nice day that we took a walk on The Trace when ME got up. We had an early dinner to beat the crowds at Primo's...yeah, fried chicken. A pretty ordinary, but still perfect Saturday!
