48 Weeks Old

On Monday, we found pink pumpkins at Kroger!  ME calls them punknics...so cute!

It was the first week of October and we had some semi-fall weather.  So, we got outside for picnics, play, and ABCs with sidewalk chalk.

It was "D" week so we made Paula Deen donuts out of biscuits.

We cut out holes and fried them in peanut oil.  Super easy!

Mmm...delicious!

A few missing, but they were really good!  I was pleasantly surprised.

We took our donuts to Strawberry Patch park to share with the Mullises. 

I think they enjoyed them too!

And "D" is for duck, so we fed the ducks too!

Friday night we ate supper at the Atkinsons' and I made this cake to take for dessert.  It's a bourbon Coca Cola cake from the SL tailgating issue.  That one has been so good to me.  Yeah, yum.

Saturday we got our first SEC win against Auburn.  Whew!  And I took the kids and met some friends at Chapel of the Cross for A Day in the Country.  I'll post pics of that next.
