34 Weeks

34 Weeks Old

Super cool

This week we only had a few days at home before we traveled some more.  Brad worked in Little Rock Thursday and Friday, and then we went down to Hope from there for the weekend.
We hung pretty close to home early in the week, except for a swim date with the Mullises.  It's funny how ME is so easily entertained by her toys when we get back from a long trip.  It's like everything is brand new again.  Right now she is OBSESSED with her Mickey Mouse hand-me-down car from Trey.  She rides it everywhere she goes all over the house...even to the bathroom.  She goes so fast and sings the whole time.  It is pretty hilarious, and Rhett finds it very amusing.  The seat lifts up, and she stuffs the little compartment with all kinds of crap.  It's her secreat hoarding place.  If something comes up missing we know to check the Mickey Mouse car.  Ha!

I love this picture!
So, Wednesday afternoon we headed to LR.  We had supper at Pei Wei (yum!) and got settled in at the Hilton.  Thursday morning we dropped Brad off at the VA, had breakfast at Chick-fil-A, and got to the zoo right after it opened.  It was smoking hot that week, so I knew if we were going to do it it had to be early.  We lasted until 11:00 and then went back to the hotel for a swim.

Thursday night we had supper at Bravo and visited with the Melsons.  It was so fun to see how much Gunnar has changed and grown.  Friday we met Jill, Grace, James, Sara, and Sterling at the Play Place.  It was great to catch up with some of our LR friends.  We miss y'all!

Rhett was a sweetie and took a little nap while the big kids played.

We still had some time to kill after lunch, so we went by The Toggery and did a little shopping at the mall.  Then we went by Brad's old office to show off the kiddos before heading down to my mom's.  We met Cole and Jenn for supper at Tailgaters, and Saturday it was time for little bit of country...

ME and Pa's corn

We had a great visit with family, and Nanny and Pa sent us home with some veggies.  Doesn't get much better than that!
