Happy Birthday Super Uncle Cole!

This past weekend we traveled to Hope for a little visit. Brad had to work in Shreveport on Friday, so we went on down Thursday, and he met up with us after work. When we got there Thursday night Mary Ella was not excited to see Mia or Super Uncle Cole, which is not like her at all. She was clinging to Mama. I didn't think she felt well, so I checked her temp and it was over 100. I gave her some medicine before she went to bed, during the night, and she was fine when she woke up in the morning. Whew! Friday we visited with Nanny and Pa, and that night we all had supper at Amigo Juan's. The above picture is Cole dancing during his birthday song. I don't know why they thought it would be a good idea for him to shake the salt and pepper shakers, because he wasted alot of it on my mom's head. Saturday was his actual birthday, and mama cooked and had Jenn's parents over for supper.

Saturday morning we visited on the farm again, and Mary Ella got to swing on the porch and dye Easter eggs.

She was not gentle as she "dropped" the eggs in the dye.

And who needs the wire thingy? I'll just use my hands!

She loved it!

And dyed herself in the process.

Adding princess stickers

She did not want to wear her crown!

The finished products

Oh, and the Easter bunny made a visit while we were there. Thanks Mia, for all of the Easter goodies!
