We waited for snow all day yesterday! The forecasters made such a big deal about it, that we didn't even go to church. We got up to get ready, but as I was putting on my makeup it started pouring down freezing rain, so we stayed home. We were supposed to get a mix of sleet/freezing rain and up to 6 inches of snow, which would be a huge deal for Mississippi, but it didn't happen. We got enough ice for them to cancel church services and schools Monday, but no winter wonderland. Mary Ella did get to catch a few snowflakes on her hand from the balcony. She came in and licked and licked her hand. It is COLD, so we stayed bundled up inside today, hence, the monkey hat and pajamas.
