5 Months

I'm 5 months old!

Mary Ella,

You are 5 months old! You seem to grow and change and learn everyday. Your first Christmas was our best Christmas. Here's what you've been up to:

• You weigh 14 pounds and are 24 3/4 inches long! You gained almost 4 pounds this month since we started giving you formula!
• You drink five 6 oz. bottles a day and are quite a little piggy. You are even interested in grown-up food and drinks. You watch us like a hawk when we eat, and you are reaching for our cups.
• You wear size one diapers and 3-6 month clothes.
• You really enjoy your playtime. When you get up from a nap or finish eating you start looking around for something to do or play with.
• You can roll from your belly to your back and have done it many times, but I still don't think you know what you're doing. It just happens to happen.
• You are really supporting yourself when we hold you or when you're sitting up.
• You have started to reach out when you want us, and you can put your arms around my neck.
• I love your kisses! You grab my cheeks and pull my face to your open mouth.
• You are laughing alot more these days and still singing and squealing like crazy.
• You have started rubbing your eyes when you are sleepy, and it is so cute!
• You are a sweet, busy, and happy girl and we love you!
