Spring Break Cruise

We took a family cruise for Spring Break this year!  We had the best time despite leaving late because of an oil spill in Galveston and missing Jamaica because of the delay.  I wouldn't call it a relaxing vacation (because can you really relax with a 2 and 4 year old?) but it was a lot of fun!  Here are the pics from on the boat...
Formal night

Sillies before bedtime...ME loved sleeping on the top bunk.

Water park on board

Sis went down the big slides too, but this one she hit about a million times

This may be one of my favorite pics of all time.  It was our last day on board, and right after brunch Rhett said, "I'm sleepy." So Brad took Rhett back to the room to nap, and ME and I had one last day of fun on the big boat.  Both kids were worn out by that time with late nights and skipped naps, but this girl can plug on when it involves waters slides and chocolate fountains.  We jumped from pools to hot tubs to water park to the buffet.

Chocolate buffet for lunch?  Why not?!

This about sums up the whole experience for ME!  Not to mention how much she loves "Mommy and Mary" time.  I won't ever forget her excitement on this afternoon!

Rhett and Daddy joined us later in the afternoon.

Ready to go after nap time

I have to confess that Rhett was in a punching phase, and may have walked up and punched a few strangers on the cruise for no apparent reason.  What in the world?

Daddy got a hold of the camera...

Daddy!

Love

Rhett liked to "shoot" people with the water guns, but only with Mom by his side.  He is a bit of a chicken around water.  And it didn't help that he got dumped on by the water bucket our first time at the park.

Uh- oh

Cute booties

I don't know which view is better...the booties or the ocean

Our last night at dinner...Larry and IGusti were our waiters, and they spoiled us rotten.  IGusti played with the kids, (who got used to sitting at their own table across from the grown ups) and made animals out of napkins and menus.  ME loved eating and drinking out of the fancy cups and plates.  She also got accustomed to ordering and eating whatever she wanted from the kids' menu.  Who knows how many pounds we gained cruising???  The brunch was my favorite meal!

Yeah, she liked it! ;)
