Christmas 2015

I love her face!  And I love that my family came to us so we didn't have to travel on Christmas.  It is so sweet to be home all day and enjoy our time together without having to rush and spend hours in the car.  Last year the kids slept together, but Rhett sacked out on the way home from Nana's, so Brad put him in his bed.  But he ended up in ours.  I don't know what time, but I think he was too sleepy to think about looking under the tree.  Then he coughed and coughed until we finally all went back to sleep around 5:30.  So, when ME got up, I had to stall her so he could get some more rest.  I bribed her with rice krispie treats and cartoons in the playroom.  She wasn't happy about it, but we hung out in there together until Rhett got up about 8:30.

So excited to see his dinosaur.

The kids gifts were bigger this year, so they only got 2 things each plus stockings.

Thrilled over airheads.

Rhett was too happy with his dinosaur to care about anything else.  Looking good, Daddy!

Like I said, who cares about stocking stuffers when you have a 2 foot roaring dinosaur to play with?

Roller skates

Another nice photo of Brad.  Ha!

And  new bike!

Opening presents from Mom and Dad.  They got snow gear and new Bible books.

ME asked for a girl bow and arrow for Christmas.  And Santa delivered.  The arrows are not really pointy, but they are metal and are for outside shooting only.  We didn't have a chance to tell her this Christmas morning, before she pulled it back and released an arrow into the paint on our balcony.  That will be a mark to remember. ;)

Rhett got in on the action too.

Dad also got them their first pellet gun.  So, basically, it was a Christmas of weaponry.  Rhett got light sabers, a tsai.  ME got a bow and arrow, and they get to share a gun.  Woo hoo!
