49 Weeks Old
Y'all, this pic melts my heart. That smile, that hair, those hands. Not to mention he looks exactly like his Daddy. If that doesn't look like Brad Harriman in his Polo and and khakis I don't know does. I love him!

How big does he look in that baby bed? |

You can barely see his new toofer. Front tooth #2 came in this week. |

This week was crazy. We had planned a week of pumpkin patches, Canton flea market, Mississippi State Fair...but all of that changed after our visit to the neurosurgeon on Tuesday. My sweet friend, Susan, kept the kids while I went to Brad's appointment with him. We went from talking about surgery to scheduling it for Thursday. Yes, that's 2 days later. We did all of the paperwork and pre-op before we ever left Dr. Woods office that day. I was so thankful my mom was already coming that week, so I knew the kids would be taken care of. And, Joe and Rita were able to take off and come for his surgery too. Oma rode with them so she could ride back with Rita, and Joe will be with us for a week. Everyone arrived Wednesday night. Thursday was long and stressful. Friday we came home, and Brad walked all the way down to the pool and back. And he has no pain down his leg. A sweet answer to prayer! Please continue to pray for his recovery and increase in stamina and diligence in physical therapy and confidence in the fact that the surgery WAS successful and he IS going to be better! Thanks be and glory be to God!
Saturday, we beat Kentucky and the kids showed off their Hog spirit. Rhett sits and does a white boy dance, and ME sings the fight song, jumps, kicks, spins, and thinks she is an Arkansas cheerleader!

Rhett puts his hands up and says, "Woo" to call the Hogs. Really, I promise, he does it in his deep baby voice. I love it so much! |
Glad this week's in the book's y'all! I'm not even going to talk about how next week is Rhett's 50th week. I can't even believe it!
