Christmas Eve was a late night. We spent all day at Joe and Rita's and then went to Tom and Renee's for supper and more presents. Each year, by the time we get home, Brad seems to have forgotten that we are Santa. And is surprised he has something to do AKA put together. This year it was the car racing tower thingy in about a million pieces. ;)

How sweet is this? I let the kids sleep together, so I knew they would both be up at the same time. And I put the monitor in Mary Ella's room and told them to call us before they came down. They did and waited at the top of the stairs until we said they could come down. |

Sweet Rhett got excited about every single gift whether it was a toothbrush, pajamas, or toys. He said, "Awww...shank you!" |

The army men were a big hit! |

Present time from Mommy and Daddy! Rhett had a blast before Christmas playing with his wrapped gifts. It's a good thing nothing was breakable, because he stacked them, knocked them over, carried them around in his dump truck, and dumped them out. He was more than ready to see what was inside. |

Mommy knew she would love Anna and Elsa night gowns. :) |

He loved his monster jammies too. |

After Christmas morning, we got ready and headed out to the cabin for lunch. We had planned on having Christmas brunch at our house, but we hadn't been out to Madison County for Christmas in a long time. We rescheduled brunch for New Year's day. |
