Christmas 1 of 2012

Brad worked in Shreveport and Little Rock the week before Christmas, so we began our travel on the 17th.  The kids and I spent a few days with my mom while he worked.  We planned on having Christmas early with her then, but my grandma got sick and then Cole got sick and then I got sick and then Mama got sick.  So, Christmas was postponed and those few days were a bust.  I do have some pictures of a few fun things we did that week that I'll share later.  Moving on to Christmas round one...Friday the 21st we picked Brad up in Little Rock and headed to Springdale.  We would be there until Christmas day, and our first Christmas party was Saturday at Nancy and Leonard's lake house.  We were so blessed to be able to make it to each and every event this year.  We took a few pics on Gigi and Papa's porch before we went.  I LOVE all of these!

Aunt Nancy and Rhett

Nancy really outdid herself this year on the food (yummo!) AND the gifts.  She knitted all of the kids a hat!  Brad and I even took one for ourselves.  Thank you!

Mary Ella was so excited to see her cousins!

Playing a little "pee-a-no"

Anna is so grown up.  Instead of playing with the crazy kids, she's more of a babysitter to the little ones.

After we open gifts, we usually sing a few Christmas songs (never to leave out Grandma Harriman's favorite) with this bunch of family.  ME enthusiastically led Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and felt led to accompany some of our songs with the piano.  It was hilarious!
