Saturday night we bundled the kids up and took them to the Canton Square to see the Christmas lights. Canton is an old town just north of us with lots of large historic homes and a beautiful square. Movies such as
O, Brother Where Art Thou, A Time to Kill, and
My Dog Skip were filmed there. It honestly feels like stepping back in time. Brad and I always enjoyed going there at Christmas for a date night, eating at Davidson's, and walking around the square. Well, this year was different. We were definitely doing the kid version. Brad was pushing Rhett in the stroller, and I was chasing Mary Ella around. But it was so much fun! And we all enjoyed getting out of the house!
Hugging Frosty...girl loves her some Frosty the Snowman! She was going crazy before we ever made it to the square. She was enjoying window shopping and looking at all of the Christmas decorations on the way.
When we made it to the real thing she took off running and pointing to each display.

Rhett never made a peep.
