Happy 2010!

New Year's Eve we got to leave this little cutie at home and have a date night. Joe and Rita came to visit, so Brad and I got all dressed up and had a nice dinner at Trios. We were going to take a picture because that doesn't happen too often these days, but my camera battery was dead. :( Anyway, it was nice to have some alone time and reflect on all the changes 2009 brought to our family. We had a great time, but little did we know on the home front little Miss Mary Ella was not so happy. Gigi said as soon as we left she started crying and cried for 45 minutes straight. Yikes! It was probably because she refuses to take a good nap if we have company! She thinks she is going to miss something! Anyway, I think she is going to be a sensitive child because if she gets too upset she sniffs and sniffs about it. She is easy to soothe when she cries, but if you don't stop it fast she gets all worked up and it takes a while for her to get over it. Well, we came home, put the girl to bed, and watched a movie to ring in the new year. Thanks Gigi and Papa and sorry about all the sniffles!
